1) Word Example: This is a document of a “Behavior Chart.” The chart is made up of 5 columns, and 10 rows. It  is complete with a header, titled, ” Behavior Stars,” and five indicated behaviors, which are labeled and illustrated at the top of each column.  Each row displays the name of a different student.

2) Excel Example: This is a spreadsheet, which displays the expenses for a University student’s fall term. The spreadsheet is broken down to display both the individual and total  expenses for each month. It also shows the individual and total expenses for each item.

3) PowerPoint Example: This provides a brief description of me, including: where I’m from, my family, my likes/hobbies, and my dreams. The PowerPoint is simple, yet incorporates a higher uses of of technology, in that I download text and background slides from the web.

4) Voicethread Example: This is a brief slide show of some my favorite pictures (some were ones I had, while others I downloaded from the web). To introduce the slide show I recorded myself using voice thread.

5) Prezi Example: This is an introduction to my Multimedia presentation on Starfall.com. The Prezi gives a brief overview of the key poisnt discussed during my group’s presentation.

  2. Understand that there are multiple types of ecosystems.
  3. Describe why certain communities exist in a given ecosystem.
  4. Understand how living and non-living things interact and survive in each ecosystem.
  5. Research at least one ecosystem in-depth.
  6. Create a digital photo story to present their findings to the class.
